aBOUT KASPER

Kasper Westin is a Film & Television student, Content Creator, and Media Freelancer based in Helsinki, Finland. Born and raised in Eastern Helsinki, he is graduating with a Bachelor’s degree in Film and Television Producing from Metropolia University of Applied Sciences.

While studying, Kasper has gained experience in short films as a producer, casting director, script supervisor, and assistant director. He also completed a 5-month internship as a Trainee at Basso Radio and has acted as the leading actor in two short films.

As a member of Gen-Z and the LGBTQ+ community, Kasper amplifies young, diverse voices through his storytelling, lifestyle, and future casting.

What i do?

I’ve always lived in Helsinki, dreaming big about becoming someone who makes a difference. In my early 20s, I realized that I could have an impact on the industry—whether in my home city or beyond. My journey so far has taught me the value of collaboration, adaptability, and hard work.

I never say no to an opportunity and am eager to learn, grow, and create meaningful stories. Whether it’s through producing, acting, or supporting creative teams, I’m passionate about bringing fresh perspectives and diverse voices to life.

I’m ready for new challenges and possibilities in film and television, and I’m excited to contribute my skills and vision to the next projects!

What’s next?

It’s hard to say what will happen this year, next year, or even 10 years from now—maybe I’ll produce a music video on Mars! Whatever the future holds, I’m always ready for challenges, whether it’s producing, acting, or working in social media.

I believe every project is part of something bigger, and as a Capricorn, I thrive on bringing new ideas and creative visions to life.
